What is the Matilda UML Virtual Machine?

Never send a human to do a machine's job.
Agent Smith, The Matrix

The Matilda UML Virtual Machine is a runtime framework (or virtual machine) that accepts UML models as its input and transforms them to lower-level development artifacts (e.g. source code, executable code and deployment descriptors) without any manual interventions to developers.

The ultimate goal of this project is to allow developer to work on analysis, design, implementation, test, deployment and execution of their systems in the modeling layer.
